How a Session Works

A half day, hour by hour

So you know exactly what you are buying. A full day is this, plus the awkward jobs nobody has got round to.

Before I arrive

I ask you for one thing: a job you actually do, that you dislike doing. A quote you write every week. The email you send forty times a year. A document you have to read and summarise. That job becomes the whole afternoon.

First hour — set up properly, and the truth about what this is

Accounts, settings, and the privacy switch almost nobody finds. Then a plain explanation of what these things actually are, why they make things up, and why that is normal behaviour rather than a fault. Five minutes, no jargon, and it changes how you use it forever.

Second hour — your job, done in front of you

I do your real job while you watch, talking through every decision. Then we do it again badly on purpose, so you can see the difference between a lazy request and a proper one. That comparison teaches more than an hour of explanation.

Third hour — you drive

Hands on the keyboard. You do it, I sit next to you. This is the hour that matters, and it is the hour most training skips.

Fourth hour — the rules, and the sheet

We write your never-type list together — what must not go into these tools, in your business specifically. Then a one-page sheet: the words that worked, written out so you can use them again on Monday.

What you have at the end

How many people

Up to four for a half day, up to six for a full day. Beyond that it stops being a session and becomes a lecture, and lectures do not work for this.

Where

At your premises across Westchester and the Hudson Valley. Remote by screen-share anywhere — and remote works genuinely well for this, because the whole thing happens on a screen anyway.
